Taking notation into the countryside

Added on July 21, 2017 by sabine kussmaul.

I am trying to draw on surfaces (paper, desk...), to draw up the surfaces,  whilst  relating to a running journey that happened on the outdoor surface of the Earth. Notation and encryption seems  a relevant theme to do with this. I wondered, if notation should not only come to be used in making up paper surfaces and territories, but, with my next runs, I should actually use line in the countryside to mark elements, to point to things, in a writing kind of way, and maybe to use labels of some kind, similar to here in the pictures, to see what resonances in the viewer and maker (myself) with will have.
